COVID-19-Update: Temporary Manufacturing Plant Closure

April 14, 2020

Dear Valued Customer,

I hope this letter finds you well. This continues to be a unique and challenging time for our country. Things seem to change daily, and I wanted to provide you an update from HTPG and our business as we continue to support you. First, we did have our first positive COVID-19 results in the plant this week at Scottsboro. We are shutting the plant down to disinfect and our plan is to remain down for the remainder of the week to insure we have a safe environment and ample staff to support customer needs. We will resume operations on Monday, 4/20/20 in Scottsboro. In the meantime, we will continue to take care of our customer needs;

  • Our Sales team is still engaged with your teams to work quotes, answer questions, provide training and any other needs your teams may have.
  • Our other distribution centers in Dallas, Texas and Ontario, Calif. will continue to operate as normal during this week.
  • The Customer Service and Application Engineering teams are not impacted and will be available as usual.
  • Much of our workforce is working remotely and will not be impacted by this short plant reset.

 We have a great team that is doing an excellent job in remaining flexible and doing the right things to keep effectively serving our customers while keeping our employees safe in these challenging times.

Stay well,

Mark Evans

VP & General Manager, HTPG
